FAQs

Can I Make Cupcakes ahead of time?

Yes, you can make these ahead of time. This is a great way to save time before your celebration. Make sure that your cupcakes are at room temperature before storing. If you are just storing overnight, they can remain at room temperature.

Once you are ready to serve, decorate and enjoy.

How to Decorate Pink Champagne Cupcakes?

Decorating the Cupcakes are always fun and works perfectly when adding the frosting to a piping bag. I like to add a piping tip to the piping bag and swirl the frosting on the cupcakes.

We used gold, pink and white sprinkles for the top of the cupcakes, but feel free to use what you have. All white sprinkles would be the perfect addition.

How to store?

Store the leftover cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate the leftovers for up to 1 week.ย ย

How to store Cupcakes without ruining Frosting?

Cupcakes need to be stored in an air tight container. This keeps them light and fluffy. Choose a container that is deep enough to store the cupcakes so the air tight lid does not touch the top of the frosting.

How to Freeze Cupcakes?

Pink Champagne Cupcakes can be placed in the freezer. You can freeze frosted cupcakes. Make sure to store in a freezer safe container and they will last about 3 months in the freezer.

When ready to serve, thaw cupcakes in the fridge overnight then serve.

Pro Tips

  • Mix Ingredients – Mix the cupcake ingredients by hand or with a hand mixer. Do not overmix the ingredients as it will effect the texture of the cupcake.
  • Add more Sprinkles โ€“ Itโ€™s optional but sometimes I add more sprinkles on top of the cupcakes. White sprinkles or more pink sugar gives that extra touch. Sanding sugar would also work on these cupcakes.
  • Cool Completely โ€“ Make sure to cool cupcakes completely before frosting the cupcakes.
  • Frosting โ€“ We used a buttercream frosting, but you can easily use a cream cheese frosting.
  • Cupcakes โ€“ We used a white cake mix but you can easily use any flavor of cake mix.
  • Piping Bags โ€“ If you do not have any piping bags, you can use a ziplock bag. Just cut off the corner and pipe the icing on each cupcake.
  • Cookie Scoop โ€“ Save time and use a cookie scoop! I have a set of stainless steel cookie scoops that I love and they make baking so much easier. You can order a set here.
  • Cupcake Liners โ€“ Use cupcake paper liners in the muffin pan for easy cleanup. If you do not have cupcake liners, make sure to spray the pan with cooking spray.
