Why We Love This

These frozen strawberry yogurt bites are perfect to satisfy any craving for ice-cream. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and chocolate coating.

Plus, with only a few ingredients, this Strawberry Yogurt Bite Recipe is so quick and easy to make.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Strawberry Yogurt Bites - strawberries, yogurt, honey, maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate chips, coconut oil.
  • Chopped Fresh Strawberries. Washed and dried.
  • Plain Greek Yogurt. You can use any brand. Substitute with dairy-free yogurt if desired.
  • Honey or Maple Syrup. Choose the one you prefer.
  • Vanilla Extract. I always like to use pure vanilla because it adds more flavor than imitation vanilla.
  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. You can use the brand you prefer. I like to use Lilly’s Chocolate Chips in this recipe.
  • Coconut Oil. This helps to thin the chocolate.

Get the complete list of ingredients at the bottom of the page.

Variations

  • Fruit. Try blueberries, raspberries, peaches, cherries or any fruit you prefer.
  • Chocolate. You can use dark chocolate, white chocolate or milk chocolate.
  • Yogurt. Try flavored yogurt. Just note you may not need the sweetener if you use different yogurt. I think coconut yogurt would taste delicious.
  • Mix-ins. Some ideas include granola, coconut, nuts and sprinkles.
  • Sea Salt. Top with a little bit of sea salt before the coating dries.
  • Vegan. Swap the honey for pure maple syrup and pair it with a plant based yogurt.

Step 8. Finally, serve and enjoy!

Storage

Store the strawberry yogurt bites in an airtight container in the freezer up to 1 month. I like to let them defrost slightly at room temperature (1-2 minutes) before eating them.

Pro Tips

  • Work Quickly. Dip the clusters quickly in melted chocolate. The moisture from the yogurt will make the chocolate seize if you take too long.
  • Molds. You can also make these in a silicone mold if you want a more perfect shape. Another option is an ice cube tray.
  • Diced Strawberries. Make sure to cut the berries into small enough slices to make each bite manageable.
  • Fresh is best. I don’t recommend using frozen strawberries. Fresh strawberries are best in this recipe.
