This rich and decadent treat is always a family favorite for classic fair food and kids love it. The soft and chewy crust and the chocolate Oreo center makes the best treat. With only 4 ingredients, you can indulge in fried oreos with crescent all year long.

  • Crescent Rolls. This gives the recipe the perfect flaky crust. You can also try biscuit dough.
  • Powder Sugar. This is for topping and makes the recipe even better.

How to Make Fried Oreos in Air Fryer

  • Step 1Prepare Air Fryer – Coat the bottom of an air fryer basket with olive oil using a paper towel.
  • Step 2 – Preheat Air Fryer – You need to preheat the air fryer to 320 degrees.  Some air fryers do not have this option. If yours does not, simply run the air fryer at 320 degrees F for 5 minutes.

Step 3. Remove the crescent rolls from the can. Cut the crescent roll dough into 8 even pieces.  Put one Oreo on each slice of crescent dough and wrap so the cookie is entirely covered.

Step 4. It’s time to put the Oreos in the air fryer. Make sure they are not touching each other. Air fry for 5 minutes or until the outside is golden brown.  Take the air-fried oreos out of the air fryer and sprinkle the confectioners’ sugar on top.

Pro Tips

  • Serving – These wrapped Oreos are best served warm. Make a batch for your next gathering and watch them disappear.
  • Prepare Air Fryer – If you air fryer has a preheat function, it is best to preheat. You can also just heat the air fryer for about 5 minutes, then place your covered Oreos in.
  • Crescent Rolls – To prepare these crescent rolls, remove from package and unroll them on cutting board. Then squeeze the crescent rolls together at the ends so it is one big sheet.
  • Wrap Oreo – Make sure the Oreo is completely covered with the crescent roll.
  • Cooking – When placing Oreos in the Air Fryer, make sure to place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Pancake Mix – You can also deep fry these Oreos after dipping into pancake mix.

Storage

These Air Fryer Oreos are best served warm after cooking. If you do have leftovers, store in the fridge inside an airtight container lined with parchment paper. You can reheat for a minute or two in the air fryer.

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 8 Oreo Cookies
  • 1 can of Crescent Rolls 8 oz package
  • 1/2 cup Powder Sugar for Topping

Instructions

  • Use a paper towel to rub the olive oil on the bottom of an air fryer basket.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320 degrees F.  If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, then run the air fryer at 320 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  • Unwrap the crescent rolls and pinch the seams together so that it all one big sheet.
  • Cut the dough into 8 even pieces.
  • Place an Oreo on each dough square and wrap the dough around the Oreo cookie.  Make sure that the dough is covering the entire Oreo.
  • The place the Oreos in the air fryer without them touching each other (you may have to work in batches depending on how many will fit).
  • Cook the Oreos for 5-6 minutes or until the outside is golden brown.
  • Remove the Oreos from the air fryer and dust them with the powdered sugar.
  • Serve while still warm and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

The recipe will work with any of your favorite type of Oreos.  Store the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 4-5 days.  When reheating the leftovers, place them in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes to warm them up and to make them crispy again!
