Frequently Asked Questions
Refrigerate any leftover dip in an airtight container. It is best to allow it to come to room temperature before serving. I normally allow it to sit for 15 to 20 minutes to soften before serving.
The dip will last up to 5 days if stored properly. However, we eat this dip pretty fast, so it never lasts that long around here.
This dip can easily be made ahead of time. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. It is such and easy recipe but but preparing in advance will help with holidays.
Pro Tips:
- Don’t forget to reserve sprinkles for the top. They add a nice finishing touch and complete the look.
- The butter and cream cheese should be softened prior to mixing together. Softened ingredients combine easier and make the texture smoother.
- If you are concerned with eating raw flour, place the flour on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Allow to cool and then add to the dip.
