Pro Tips

  • Sugar Cookies. The cookies need to be plain and without frosting. You can use homemade sugar cookies or store-bought cookies to make this sugar cookie ice cream.
  • Sprinkles. Jimmies work best in this ice cream because they won’t bleed like other types of sprinkles will. It looks better and turns out perfectly once served.
  • Layer the ice cream. Make sure to layer the ice cream and sprinkles when you pour the mixture into the pan. This will make it so pretty when served.

Storage

I usually make this recipe the night before we’re going to enjoy it. This ice cream will last up to 3 months stored in the freezer.

For best results, store inside an airtight freezer container or cover the pan tightly with plastic wrap and foil. Place a layer of parchment paper directly on the ice cream, so it does not form ice crystals.
