  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Vanilla extract
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Sugar Cookies Crumbled
  • White Chocolate (finely chopped)
  • Red Jimmie Sprinkles
  • Green Jimmie Sprinkles

How to make Christmas Ice Cream Recipe:

  • Step 1. Beat the heavy cream. Whip the heavy whipping cream in a large bowl with a hand held or stand up mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • Step 2. Get out a separate mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon.
  • Step 3. Carefully fold in the whipped cream. Gently stir the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture until just combined.  Then add in the crumbled cookies and white chocolate (reserve some for the topping).
  • Step 4. Spread into a loaf pan. Pour approximately ⅓ of the mixture into a 9X5 loaf pan.  Sprinkle ⅓ of each of the sprinkles on top of that layer.  Continue this process 2 more times.
  • Step 5. Top with cookies and chocolate. Sprinkle the remaining cookies and white chocolate on top of the mixture in the loaf pan.
  • Step 6. Allow to freeze. Freeze for at least 6 hours and up to overnight.
  • Step 7. Serve this ice cream treat. Then the ice cream is ready to serve and enjoy!

Tips for Success:

  • Sugar Cookies. The cookies need to be plain and without frosting. You can use homemade sugar cookies or store-bought cookies to make this sugar cookie ice cream.
  • Sprinkles. Jimmies work best in this ice cream because they won’t bleed like other types of sprinkles will. It looks better and turns out perfectly once served.

Storage:

I usually make this recipe the night before we’re going to enjoy it. This ice cream will last up to 3 months stored in the freezer.

For best results, store inside an airtight freezer container or cover the pan tightly with plastic wrap and foil. Place a layer of parchment paper directly on the ice cream, so it does not form ice crystals.
