Pro Tips

  • Apples – We recommend using firm apples for this delicious treat. The apples won’t get mushy when you cook them in the batter.
  • Peeling Apples – You can peel the apples or leave the peel on.
  • Cutting Apples – Cut apples about the same size so they cook evenly.
  • Oil – Make sure your oil is hot before adding the apples into the skillet.
  • Serve Hot – This apple treat is not recommended to make in advance. Once they have been drained on the paper towel serve hot with your favorite topping.
  • Don’t Stack – Place apple slice in the batter one slice at a time.

Storage

These fried apples are best served fresh while the fried apples are crispy but you can store the leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
