FAQs

How to easily get popsicle out of mold?

Once your popsicle is frozen solid in the mold, now it is time to enjoy them. The best option in removing from the mold is running the mold under hot water for a minute. Then carefully try and wiggle the popsicle free of the mold.

If it doesn’t immediately come out, then run it under the water again. Make sure you don’t get water inside the mold. Also, don’t force it out of the mold or you can break the popsicle.

How long to store popsicles?

These homemade popsicles will last for 6 weeks in the freezer.  I recommend storing them in the molds.

Do I have to add honey?

We love adding honey to these homemade popsicles. It gives the perfect amount of sweetness that we love with popsicles.

If you do not want to use honey, you can use sugar instead. You can also use natural sugar such as monk fruit for a healthier version. Maple syrup would also be good added into the yogurt mixture.

What types of fruit can I use?

We love to use blueberries, raspberries, mangoes, peaches and pineapple.

How long does homemade popsicles take to freeze?

We have found that it takes about 5 to 6 hours to get the popsicles frozen. It is best to make them the night before and let them freeze overnight.

Don’t leave the popsicles at room temperature for too long, as they will melt quickly.

Can I use frozen fruit instead of fresh fruit?

If you don’t have any fresh fruit, try using frozen fruit. These yogurt pops will still be delicious! You can use slice or whole frozen fruit. We prefer to use the slice ones as they blend easier.

Be sure to let the fruit thaw before blending in the blender. I love how many different ways you can make popsicles.
