Recipe FAQs

Can you Freeze Halloween Puppy Chow Chex Mix?

Yes, we love doubling the recipe when we make it so we can freeze it. Store in an freezer container or freezer bag for up to 3 months. When you are ready to serve, take out of the freezer and it is good cold or at room temperature.

How to Store Puppy Chow Halloween Chex Mix?

Store in an airtight container for up to a week and enjoy. Ours never lasts that long though because we eat it quickly. We really love it.

What type of Chex Mix is good for Puppy Chow?

The Chex Mix cereal that we used for this recipe is rice but you can use corn as well. I usually stick with these two Chex Mix cereal so that it doesn’t change the flavoring of the puppy chow.
