Ingredients
- Crushed Red Hot Candies. You can use a Ziplock bag and rolling pin to crush the candy.
- Butter. Softened at room temperature.
- Granulated Sugar. Regular white granulated sugar.
- Large Egg. Room temperature egg.
- Vanilla Extract. Pure vanilla is best.
- All Purpose Flour. You don’t want to pack too much flour into the measuring cup. Spoon the flour instead of scooping to prevent this.
- Baking Soda. If you run out, try one of the Best Baking Soda Substitutes.
- Powdered Sugar. For best results, I suggest sifting the powdered sugar so it’s smooth and lump free.
