- White Chocolate Melting Wafers. The combination of white chocolate and chocolate taste delicious.
- Lollipop Sticks. You need something sturdy to support the weight of the twinkies.
- Toppings. We used Sprinkles, Crushed Candy, M&M and nuts.

Variations
We used melted chocolate wafers to cover the twinkies, but you can use different chocolate to cover the twinkies.
- Candy Coating – There are different color of wafers so feel free to use different colors.
- Chocolate Chips – Feel free to melt milk and dark chocolate chips to coat the twinkies.
- Drizzle Chocolate – We love to drizzle different color of chocolate to add a fun and festive twist on this white candy coating twinkies.

How to Make Chocolate Covered Twinkies

Step 1 – Prepare Twinkies – Unwrap each of the Twinkies and insert a lollipop stick into the end of each Twinkies. Then freeze for 3 hours.

Step 2- Melt Chocolate – Melt the melting wafers based on the package instructions.

Step 3 – Coat Twinkies – Remove the Twinkies from the freezer and coat them in the melting chocolate. You can dip them into the chocolate or use a spoon to coat the Twinkies with the chocolate.

Step 4 – Add the toppings – Place the coated Twinkies back on the baking sheet and immediately top with the toppings of your choice. Allow to harden and then serve.

Pro Tips

Ingredients
- 10 Twinkies
- 16 ounces Chocolate Melting Wafers
- 8 ounces White Chocolate Melting Wafers
- 10 Lollipop Sticks
- Toppings: Sprinkles Crushed Candy, M&M, nuts, etc
Instructions
- Unwrap each of the Twinkies and insert a lollipop stick into the end of each Twinkies.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or waxed paper and freeze for 3 hours.
- Melt the melting wafers based on the package instructions.
- Remove the Twinkies from the freezer and coat them in the melting chocolate. You can dip them into the chocolate or use a spoon to coat the Twinkies with the chocolate.
- Let any excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
- Place the coated Twinkies back on the baking sheet and immediately top with the toppings of your choice.
- Let sit until the chocolate hardens and then they are ready to serve and enjoy!
