How to make keto mug cake:

Step 1. First, put all of the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a mug.

Mug with wet and dry ingredients mixed together.

Step 2. Then, stir everything together with a fork including dry ingredients and wet ingredients. Make sure all of the ingredients are mixed together really well.

Step 3. Finally, microwave on high for 60 seconds.

Pro Tips

  • We used a 14 oz mug for this recipe and it worked perfectly. 
  • We had plenty of room at the top so I think a 12 oz mug would have worked great too. Either size should be suitable.
  • Just make sure the mug that you use is microwave safe.
  • Don’t skip the baking powder, You need a leavening agent in this recipe so that it will rise.
  • Cooking times may vary based on individual microwave ovens.
  • You can make this into 2 smaller desserts. Just split the cake mixture between 2 ramekins or small bowl before microwaving.
