  • Green & White Sprinkles. Complete the look with sprinkles on top.

Expert Tips

  • Edible Cupcake Toppers. Try using these fun treats as cupcake toppers. They would be so cute in Green Velvet Cupcakes.
  • Coating. If you cannot find green candy melts, you can use melted almond bark or white chocolate chips. Then dye melted chocolate green with green food coloring.ย ย
  • Allow excess chocolate to drip off. This will make each shape look even cuter once set. Once dry, you can use a knife to carefully remove any from the pretzels.
  • Caramel. You can use Rolo Candies in the middle for another fun option.
  • Gluten Free Pretzels. Feel free to swap gluten free pretzels in this recipe.

FAQs

Do you have to line the cookie sheet?

Yes, it makes it easier to remove the pretzel shamrocks once dry. I recommend using a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. It also helps with clean up.

Can you use other sprinkles?

Yes, feel free to use what you have on hand or prefer. You can use other types of candy as well. I just like to keep with the green theme for St. Patrick’s Day.
