Why We Love This Recipe

The convenience of making S’mores in easy to eat cones is wonderful. They taste great and kids love campfire cones.

Ingredients for Waffle Cone Smores

  • Sugar Cone or Waffle Cones. Waffle ice cream cones most closely resemble the flavor of traditional smores.
  • Mini Marshmallows. I recommend using mini marshmallows because they are easier to fit inside the cones.
  • Milk Chocolate Chips. You can use regular size or mini.

Get the complete ingredient list at the bottom of the page.

Variations

  • Add peanut butter cups to the cone. Peanut butter fans will love this combination!
  • You can use mini marshmallows or regular size. I have even cut up large marshmallows and used those.
  • Try other types of morsels- dark chocolate, white chocolate chips, butterscotch, peanut butter chips, caramel chips and more.
  • Use leftover candy bars in the cones. Chop up a Hershey bar or rolo candy and use that for the chocolate!
  • Topping. Add Homemade Caramel Sauce Recipe and Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe.
  • Fruit. Top with strawberries, blueberries or bananas.
