Storage
These are best served fresh as the coating will become soft as they are stored. We do not suggest storing for later use.
Pro Tips
- Large marshmallows. Regular size marshmallows are best for frying. You can also use rectangular shaped marshmallows. We do not recommend using mini marshmallows.
- Heat oil properly. The oil should be heated to 350 degrees before frying the marshmallows. If it is lower, the marshmallows will absorb too much oil. Any warmer and the marshmallows will burn while cooking.
- Oil with a high smoke point. It is important to use an oil that has a high smoke point for frying. This includes vegetable oil, canola oil and peanut oil.
- Turn occasionally while cooking. Don’t forget to turn the marshmallows while cooking so they cook evenly.
