Ingredients needed - ground cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger
  • Ground Cinnamon. Adjust this to taste if you prefer a stronger cinnamon taste. Feel free to increase the amount.
  • Ground Nutmeg. If you use freshly grated nutmeg instead, decrease the amount. It is stronger than dried nutmeg.
  • Allspice. You can omit this spice if desired or substitute it with ground cardamom.
  • Ground Ginger. Some recipes for Apple Pie Spice do not call for ginger but I like the flavor it adds.
