Ingredients

Ingredients - butter, sugar, applesauce, Greek yogurt, flour, cinnamon.
  • Butter. Make sure the melted butter has completely cooled before using.
  • Light Brown Sugar. You can also make Homemade Brown Sugar Recipe if you prefer. It’s very easy.
  • Applesauce. Use unsweetened applesauce so the bread isn’t too sweet.
  • Greek Yogurt. This makes the bread so moist and also adds some protein.
  • All Purpose Flour. Spoon the flour into a measuring cup instead of spooning it. This will prevent the flour from being packed into the cup.
  • Cinnamon and Nutmeg. These spices perfectly complement the apple flavor.

  • Homemade applesauce. Feel free to swap the storebought for homemade applesauce if you have fresh apples. We make Apple Pie a lot and often have apples at home.
  • Vanilla. You can add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
