How to store

Store any leftover popcorn in an airtight container or ziploc bag.  Store at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Ours never last that long. We eat it pretty fast around here as it is so amazing.

Expert Tips

  • Gel food coloring. We recommend using gel food coloring to ensure that the popcorn is a vibrant green color like the Grinch.
  • Parchment Paper. Spread parchment paper on the baking sheet before spreading the popcorn mixture. This will make cleanup much easier.
  • Popcorn. We prefer to use homemade popcorn or microwave popcorn but store bought that is already popped is fine too. Make sure to pick out any kernels that didn’t pop and discard. Whatever type you decide to use, make sure it is plain unbuttered popcorn.

Variations

  • Add-ins. Feel free to add additional ingredients that your family enjoys. Some tasty ideas include pretzels, candy and more.
  • Candy Hearts. Cany hearts would be so fun add into this popcorn recipe.
  • Green Candy Melts. If you prefer not to use green food coloring, use green candy melts. Then combine with the popped popcorn into a large bowl.
