Recipe tips
- Double the recipe. If you need to make a larger batch, simply double the recipe. You will need to use a 9×13 pan if you double the recipe.

- Line the pan with parchment paper. This will make it easy to remove from the pan once baked. Don’t forget to also spray the paper with cooking spray.
- Do not overmix the batter. Combine the ingredients until just combined being careful that you do not overmix. Overmixing will result in tough brownies.
- Allow the brownies to cool. The brownies should cool completely before adding the glaze.
- The glaze should cool before cutting. Allow the glaze to cool and set on the brownies before cutting. The slices will look cleaner when cut.

Variations
- Mix-ins. Feel free to add white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips or freeze dried strawberries to the batter. Toss in a handful and carefully fold into the batter before baking. Do not use a hand mixer when using add ins.
- Strawberry Extract. Add 1 teaspoon strawberry extract to the batter to intensify the strawberry flavor in cake mix brownies.
- Fresh strawberries. Try adding fresh strawberries pureed into the glaze for even more strawberry flavor. We do not recommend adding fresh berries into the batter as the brownie texture will not be the same.
- Strawberry frosting. Substitute a strawberry frosting instead of glaze on the brownies. You can make homemade strawberry frosting or use a store bought frosting.
- Chocolate Frosting. If you love the combination of strawberry and chocolate flavor, top this recipe with chocolate frosting.
