What does Fried Cheesecake taste like?

Deep Fried Cheesecake is a completely different taste and texture than regular cheesecake. I have a few family members that do not like cheesecake but will eat these since they do taste different. It is similar to warm cream puffs.

The texture is different since it is fried. These cheesecake bites are so creamy on the inside with cheesecake batter but have the perfect crispy crust.

Ingredients

  • Frozen Cheesecake
  • Pancake mix – any kind will work but we love this easy homemade pancake mix.
  • Egg
  • Milk

  • Powdered sugar

How to make deep fried cheesecake

Cheesecake cut in pieces.

Step 1. First, cut the frozen cheesecake into small pieces. I normally do bite size 1 inch squares or cheesecake balls. Cut off any of the graham cracker crust. Once the pieces are cut, put them back in the freezer until you are ready to deep fry them.

Oil in pot.

Step 2. Go ahead and heat the oil. Use a pot that is deep. The temperature needs to be 360 degrees.

Pancake batter in bowl.

Step 3. Add the pancake mix to a mixing bowl.

Egg and milk added to mixing bowl with batter.

Step 4. Then add the egg, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
