These doughnut recipe cooks easily on baking sheets after being prepared. If you fry them they cook best in vegetable oil or olive oil. Make sure your dough is 1 inch thickness to create the best donut.

Cook time will vary if you cook in a dutch oven or on a baking sheet. We like to use a round cookie cutter to create the best round shape. When done cooking, place donut on a wire rack to cool.

For best results, use a donut cutter to cut the hole in the center.
