How to Make Donut Holes in Air Fryer
- Step 1. Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F. If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, turn your air fryer to 360 degrees and let it run for approximately 5 minutes.

Step 2. Prepare the biscuit dough. Cut the donut holes from the biscuits with a small cookie cutter. You can also use a bottle cap or anything small will work.

Step 3. Coat the air fryer basket with olive oil. Then place the donut holes in the air fryer making sure they have enough space.

Step 4. Cook for 4 minutes and toss them halfway. Don’t overlap the dough or they will not cook properly.

Step 5. While the doughnut holes cook, make the cinnamon and sugar coating. Stir with a spatula the cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl and melt the butter in a separate bowl.

Step 6. Dip the dough balls in the melted butter or brush the butter on. Then roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Make sure to get the bottoms and the sides of the donuts. You want every inch coated in this delicious mixture.

Step 7. Serve immediately on a tray and enjoy.
Recipe Tips
- Form the donut holes. To cut out the donut holes, use a mini pastry cutter or you can use the lid from a drink bottle. That works great too.
- Don’t over crowd the air fryer. The donut holes need space for the air to properly circulate. They should not be stacked on top of each other.
- Melted butter. Don’t skip this step. It helps the cinnamon and sugar mixture to adhere to the donut holes.
- Flip the donut holes. Toss them halfway thru the baking time.
- Preheat the air fryer. This helps the donut holes to cook faster and gives them such a pretty golden color. If you do not have this setting, let it run for about 5 minutes at 360 degrees.
- Cook in batches. Depending on what size air fryer you have, the donut holes may need to be cooked in batches.

Storage
These are best served fresh and hot, but you can store the leftovers in an airtight container or bag at room temperature for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave before eating the leftovers.
