How to Make Cherry Popsicles
Step 1. Prepare the fresh fruit by removing the pits. You can use a cherry pitter if desired.
Step 2. Place the cherries and all of the other ingredients in a food processor or a blender.
Step 3. Blend until the mixture is combined and smooth.
Step 4. Pour the mixture into the ice pop mold and add wooden sticks.
Step 5. Place the molds in the freezer. Freeze for 4-6 hours or until the popsicles freeze completely. Overnight works great too and this is what we usually do.
Step 6. When you are ready to serve, run warm water on the outside of the molds. This will loosen the popsicles from the molds.
Storage
Keep the popsicles in the molds in the freeze until you are ready to enjoy them. They will last for 2-3 months in the freezer.
Another option is to remove them from the molds and store inside a freezer bag. This option is more convenient for younger children so they can grab a snack easily.
