Variation Ideas

  • Candy. You can use jelly beans instead of M&Ms in this cinnamon roll recipe if you prefer.
  • Chocolate Chips. If you like chocolate, try using chocolate chips for the eyes and nose.
  • Cinnamon Roll Dough. Any canned refrigerated brand will work great in this recipe! Feel free to use store brand or your favorite brand.
  • Different flavors. While traditional variations taste amazing, orange flavor and caramel taste great too.
  • Frosting. If you want more frosting than what is included, you can purchase a container of cream cheese frosting.
  • Sprinkles. You can use any sprinkles that you prefer or have on hand.

Pro Tips

  • Lined baking sheet. Clean up is a breeze if you line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Don’t overbake. They should be golden brown around the edges but not overdone. Baking times vary to keep an eye on them.
  • Reinforce the shape. While baking, it might be necessary to reinforce the shape of the bunnies. Check on them during the process and if needed adjust the shape with a handle of a spoon.
