Easy additions to Holiday Fudge Recipe:

  • Crushed candy canes are gorgeous and tasty on top of the fudge. Crush a ½ cup and sprinkle all over.

How to Make Christmas fudge:

Step 1. First, line an 8X8 square baking pan with foil or parchment paper. Then spray it with cooking spray and this will make it very easy to remove the fudge. It will also help with clean up.

Step 2. Second, get out a large microwave-safe bowl and put the chocolate chips inside it. Then melt the chocolate in 30 second increments stirring constantly after each interval. Use medium heat if your microwave has a setting.

Step 3. Continue to heat until the chocolate is melted. Be careful not to overcook the white chocolate.

Step 4. Stir in the vanilla frosting.

Step 5. Once everything is combined, separate the fudge mixture evenly between 3 bowls.

Step 6. You will need to leave one bowl white and then stir in the green and red food coloring into the other 2 bowls.

Step 7. Drop a spoonful of each color into the square pan using a random pattern.

Step 8. Continue until all of the different colors have been distributed.

Step 9. Once all of the fudge is in the prepared pan, use a knife to create a swirl pattern. I normally go back and forth and it creates a gorgeous pattern.

Step 10. Allow the fudge to set in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Then slice and enjoy.

Pro Tips:

  • Line Baking Dish – Make sure to line baking dish with parchment paper for easy clean up and to remove fudge.
  • Melting Chocolate – Make sure to slowly melt chocolate as your do not want it to burn. Heat in 30 second intervals and stir.
  • Food Coloring – You can change the food coloring but be sure to mix in separate bowls to have all the holiday colors.
  • Swirling Fudge – When you are swirling the fudge make sure to not mix too much. You want to be able to see the swirl of all the colors.

How to store this fudge?

Now, this fudge goes pretty quickly because everyone loves it so much.

However, you can store fudge in an airtight container with lid to keep it fresh. I suggest putting wax paper in between the layers of fudge.

It is best stored at room temperature. The fudge will last up to 7 days at room temperature.

Can you freeze fudge?

Separate the fudge with wax paper inside an airtight container. Place in the freezer up to 3 months.

This is very convenient if you do a lot of holiday baking. You can make and freeze the fudge ahead of time.

When you are ready to eat, allow the fudge to thaw in the fridge to prevent condensation from forming.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce bag of White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 container of white frosting
  • Red and Green Food Coloring

Instructions

  • Line an 8X8 baking dish with foil or parchment paper and spray with a non-stick cooking spray for easy removal of the fudge.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments and stir between each one. Heat until the chocolate is melted and do not overcook the white chocolate.
