- Powdered Erythritol. This is what you use instead of the traditional powdered sugar.
- Vanilla Extract. Make sure it has no sugar added.

Step By Step Instructions
Step 1. First, get out a medium bowl. Add the cream cheese and butter together and cream until it is mixed really well.
Step 2. Then, add the sweetener and vanilla extract. Combine slowly until the sweetener is mixed together. Make sure to mix on a low speed so the sweetener won’t make a mess. Then beat on high for 1 to 2 minutes. The frosting should be light and fluffy.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can also freeze this up to 3 months. Just make sure that you use a good freezer container, so it does not get freezer burn.

Alternative Sweetener Options
- If the powdered sweetener version is not available, you normally can find a granulated sweetener option and use a coffee grinder to grind it into a powder form.

- Another sugar substitute is liquid stevia. I haven’t tried it in this recipe, but I think it would work if the other 2 options were not available. It bakes and cooks similarly to regular sugar, so this is why it’s a preferred substitution for anyone following a low carb or Keto diet.

Either of these will work great. I do recommend using an electric mixer as it’s easier and quick to create this recipe.
This recipe is approximately 1 gram of carbs per serving. This is why this recipe is perfect for a Keto diet. You can still satisfy your sweet tooth and not ruin your diet.
The net carbs are the same amount as there is not any fiber in this recipe.
