Recipe Substitutions and Variations:

  • Change the Crust – We made our crust out of crushed Oreo cookies. But you can make it with a graham cracker crust if you prefer.
  • Change the Jello – You can easily make this recipe with different Jell-O flavors. You can make a banana or a strawberry flavor lasagna.
  • Sugar Free Jello – If you prefer, you can use sugar free jello. The pie will still turn out so delicious.
  • Toppings – Instead of using Oreo, you can top the chocolate lasagna with ¼ cup of mini chocolate chips. Drizzle the top with chocolate syrup or caramel syrup.
  • Whipped Cream – Top the No Bake Oreo dessert with more whipped topping.

Can I Use other Varieties of Oreos?

We used regular Oreos for this recipe. Feel free to use different flavors such as Mint Oreos or Peanut Butter Oreos. The different flavors will gives this dessert a delicious twist.

We do not recommend using Double Stuffed Oreos for this recipe. This extra cream filling does not work well when crushing up the Oreos.

When you are ready to serve, thaw overnight in the refrigerator.

Pro Tips:

  • Cut Clean Lines – Place in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving to be able to cut clean even pieces. This works like a charm every time. You will love how easy it is to get a clean slice each time.
  • Oreo Crust We recommend crushing the cookies with a food processor. This allows for the cookies to chop finely.
  • Cream Cheese – Make sure the cream cheese has softened before mixing with the other ingredients. It is easiest to use a hand mixer or stand mixer.
  • Spread the Layers Evenly – Evenly spread the layers across the pan so that all areas are covered.
