Frequently Asked Questions

Can you bake this cobbler?

Yes, pour the peach mixture into a baking dish. Top with the biscuits and brush with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes.

The biscuits should be golden brown and thoroughly cooked inside.

What about the Air Fryer to cook the biscuits?

The air fryer can be used to cook the biscuits if you are looking for a healthier option. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees. Cook the biscuits for 10 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.

Then top each serving of cobbler with the biscuits .

What type of biscuits are best to use?

Any brand is good to use but make sure to get the flakey variety. Being able to pull them apart helps to create the layers in this cobbler.

Can I use frozen biscuits?

We do not recommend using frozen biscuits. You are unable to pull them apart for layers and they take longer to cook.

Can you use fresh peaches or frozen peaches in this recipe?

Fresh or frozen peaches can be used in this recipe. You will need to extend the cooking time to allow them to cook down. More water may need to be added since you will not have the syrup from canned peaches to use.

Once the mixture has cooked, taste test to ensure it is sweet enough. Canned peaches are sweeter due to the syrup. You may need to adjust the recipe for sweetness if it is not sweet enough.
