Everyone loves smores and we are always trying something new. From Easy S’mores Cake Recipe to S’mores Cupcakes and Oven Baked Smores and S’mores Cones, my family loves being the taste tester. When I mentioned I wanted to try a frozen smores recipe, they were definitely interested in this no bake recipe.

Ingredients

Ingredients needed - chocolate pudding, milk, graham crackers, marshmallow creme, cream cheese, cool whip
  • Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • Milk – Whole milk is best for a richer flavor. 
  • Graham Crackers
  • Cream Cheese – softened at room temperature
  • Cool Whip – thawed

  • Chocolate Graham Crackers – For all the chocolate lovers, use chocolate graham crackers.

How to Make Frozen S’mores

  • Step 1 – Prepare the baking sheet – First, I like to layer the 9×13 pan with foil or parchment paper. This will really help later when you need to remove them to cut.

Step 2. Second, use a large mixing bowl and whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk. Spread the chocolate pudding layer on the bottom of the baking dish and put in the freezer to chill while you are making the next layer.

Step 3. Beat cream cheese and marshmallow fluff in a separate medium bowl. You want the marshmallow mixture to be smooth and well combined.  Add the cool whip and mix together. Fold this together by hand.

Step 4. Spread the marshmallow layer over the pudding mixture layer. Cover with foil and plastic wrap and freeze until the layers are firm.

Step 5. Each graham cracker needs to be broken into squares. Add the squares on top of the frozen layer pretty close together. You should be able to get 3 rows of 5 crackers each.

Step 6. Remove from the pan and place on a cutting board.

Step 7. Cut into squares and serve the ice cream sandwich treat using a spatula.

  • Layer the Ingredients – Layer the chocolate on the graham cracker squares for a delicious treat.
  • Prepare Pan – We recommend layering in a pan with parchment paper.
  • Cream Cheese – Make sure cream cheese is softened at room temperature.

How to serve frozen smores?

We think they are easier to eat when they have set out at room temperature for a few minutes. But you can easily serve them straight from the freezer. This would be great, especially on a hot summer day.

How to store?

If you have leftovers, wrap them in plastic wrap individually and place them in a freezer bag. Store in the freezer until ready to enjoy again.

How long will they last?

Ingredients

  • 1 box Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • 2 1/2 cup Milk
  • 15 Graham Crackers
  • 7 oz Marshmallow Creme
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened at room temperature
  • 8 oz Cool Whip thawed

Instructions

  • Line a 9X13 baking pan with foil or parchment paper with a 1 inch overhang.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and the milk. Once combined, spread this mixture in the bottom of the 9X13 pan and place in the freezer to chill while you mix together the other layer.
  • Then in a separate bowl, beat with a hand held mixer or stand up mixer together the cream cheese and marshmallow creme until they are well combined and smooth. Then hand mix in the cool whip.
  • Spread this mixture over the of the pudding layer in the 9X13 pan. Cover with foil and freeze for at least 4-6 hours until the mixture is firm.
  • Then remove from the pan with the foil or parchment paper and place on a cutting board.
  • Break the graham crackers in half to make squares. Place half of the graham crackers on top of the frozen pudding layers on the cutting board close together I did 3 rows of 5 crackers.
  • Use a knife to cut the pudding mixture into squares by cutting in between each graham crackers. Once cut, flip each square over and top with another graham cracker.
  • You an enjoy them right away or warp individually and store in the freezer in an airtight container or freezer bag.
  • Once frozen, let stand for about 10 minutes at room temperature before eating,

    My pudding box only calls for 2c milk. Do I need the extra half cup for a reason?

      Yes, we used 2 1/2 cups of milk for this recipe so following the instructions in the recipes not on the pudding mix.
