Variations
- White Chocolate. You can substitute white chocolate for almond bark. No need for a double boiler. Just use the microwave and melt in 30 second intervals.
- Green and Orange Drizzle. Try using different color candy melts to drizzle on top of the bark. Green and Orange would be festive.
- Nuts. Sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans on top of the Halloween bark.
- Peanut Butter. Melt peanut butter morsels for the base layer instead of white chocolate. This is a great combination for peanut butter fans.
- Caramel Syrup. Drizzle decadent caramel syrup all over the top.
- Seasonal. This treat can easily be adapted for other holidays. Substitute all of the Halloween themed candy for Christmas or Valentine’s Day.
- Dried Fruit. Try sprinkling dried cranberries, apricots or your favorite dried fruit on top.
There are numerous ways to adapt this recipe based on preference or what you have on hand. Feel free to customize this treat how you prefer.
Step By Step Instructions

Step 1 – Line a jelly roll pan with foil then spray the foil with non-stick cooking spray. Then line the bottom of the pan with the graham crackers.

Step 2 – Pour the almond bark over the crackers. Then sprinkle the pretzel twists, Oreo pieces, Reese’s pieces, sprinkles, candy eyes and candy corn evenly on top of the almond bark. Then place in the fridge.
Pro Tips
- Line your pan – Use parchment paper or wax paper so the bark lifts out easily once it hardens.
- Melt slowly – Melt almond bark in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between to avoid burning.
- Work quickly – Once the bark is melted and spread out, add toppings right away before it sets.
- Press toppings lightly – Gently press larger toppings (like pretzels or Oreos) into the bark so they stick.
- Customize toppings – Mix in other Halloween candies like M&M’s, gummy worms, or sprinkles to match your theme.
- Break into pieces – Once set, break into random shards for that fun, rustic Halloween look.

Topping Suggestions
- Peanut butter cups. You can use the mini Peanut Butter Cups or break the regular size into smaller pieces.
- Chocolate Chips. Dark chocolate, Milk Chocolate or Semi Sweet make great options.
- Chocolate Candy. You can use your favorite type of chocolate candy bars for topping. Halloween M&M’s would be perfect and look great.
- Chocolate Bars. Break Hershey Bars, Kit Kats, Butterfingers, Heath Bars or anything you like on top.
Storage
Room Temperature – Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Layering – If stacking pieces, place parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking.
Refrigerator – For longer freshness, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Note: the chocolate may develop a slight white coating (bloom), but it’s still fine to eat.
Freezer – Freeze in a sealed freezer-safe bag or container for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
