How To Make Apple Pie Tacos
- Step 1 – Heat Oven – First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees medium heat.

Step 2. Use a shallow bowl and stir together the sugar and cinnamon. Gently stab the tortillas with a fork 4-5 times to help prevent air bubbles.

Step 3. Coat both sides of the tortillas with the melted butter. I used a basting brush. Then gently press the tortillas down into the sugar mixture to coat the shells. Flip and repeat until both sides of the tortillas are coated.

Step 4. Next, flip a muffin tin upside down, fold the tortillas in half. Then place them in between the muffin cups of the pan. This will help them keep the taco shape while baking. Bake for 5-6 minutes.

Step 5. Get out a large mixing bowl. Pour the apple pie filling into it. Use a knife or spoon to cut up any large pieces of apples in the filling. Then, pour in half of the caramel sauce and stir until well combined.

Step 6. Then, fill each taco shell with 1-2 spoons of the mixture. Place back in the oven and bake for 4-5 more minutes. Bake until the filling mixture is heated through, and the shells are golden brown.

Step 7. Finally, arrange on a platter and serve warm. Top with the ice cream and the leftover caramel sauce drizzled on top.

Expert Tips
- Poke Holes in Tortilla – To prevent air bubbles to form in the taco shells, we recommend poking holes with a fork.
- Tortillas Size – If you cannot find the street taco size tortillas. Cut soft taco size tortillas into 4 inch round circles with a cookie cutter or glass.

- Baking – Bake the tortilla for about 5 minutes. It does not take long to bake so watch closely.
- Apple Pie Filling – It may be possible that the apple pie filling has chunks in them. Just use a knife to cut the pieces into bite size pieces.
