Storage

Store this ice cream in the fridge for up to two months when covered with plastic wrap. We suggest also placing a layer of parchment paper directly on the ice cream.

If you have a pan with a lid, you can also utilize this for easy storage.

This will help to prevent ice crystals from forming and ensure the texture is perfect.

Serving Suggestions

We like to top this ice cream with some extra Twix pieces or Twix ice cream bars. The creamy vanilla ice cream with twix pieces also tastes great and just looks so fun with these extra pieces.

This ice cream is also great drizzled with Easy Homemade Caramel Sauce Recipe or The BEST Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce. You can also dollop with Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe and Magic Shell Recipe.

Expert Tips

  • Whip the cream until stiff peaks. Whipping the cream into stiff peaks gives the ice cream a nice, airy texture. The condensed milk makes it smooth and creamy.
  • Allow to set at room temperature before scooping. You might need to let your ice cream sit on the counter for about 5 minutes before scooping it. You can also run your ice cream scoop under hot water before you scoop the ice cream.
