  • Fruit. Sliced bananas, strawberries and blueberries make great options. Don’t forget a cherry on top. You can add a jar of maraschino cherries.

How to make Ice Cream Charcuterie Board

Wooden board with containers.

Step 1. First, you need a large board. You can find several charcuterie boards or just use a large wooden board. If you have one with edges, that is easiest because it keeps all of the items in place.

Waffle bowls placed on board.

Step 2. Second, put cans to act as placeholders for where you want the ice cream pints and frozen yogurt to go. You won’t add those until last, so they don’t get too soft.

Assortment of toppings added to board.

Step 3. Next, add all of the bowls for the toppings you plan to use and the ice cream cones and waffle bowls.

Toppings and sauces in bowls surrounded by ice cream.

Step 4. Now, add the next largest items such as the yogurt pretzels and fruit. Then add the medium items to another section of the board. Finally, fill any remaining spots left with the small items.

Serving ideas

  •  Sundae glasses – If you want to be really festive, use sundae glasses to serve the ice crema in. You will love having these on hand to reuse for parties and more.
  • Disposable party cups – Sometimes, paper is best and you can get really cute ice cream cups. I have seen some really cute ones on Amazon, dollar store and more. So fun!
  • Mason jars – I love using mason jars because they are so practical for so many different uses. You can use them for ice cream and then wash and reuse for numerous other ways.

And of course you have the ice cream cones and waffles bowls on the charcuterie boards for more options. Kids normally love the cones or waffle bowls.
