Frequently Asked Questions

How to store Oreo Cheesecake Cookies?

Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.  You can place a piece of bread in the container with the cookies to keep them soft.

How to freeze cookies?

There are 2 options for freezing these cookies. You can freeze them prior to baking.
With this option, form the dough balls and flash freeze on a lined baking sheet. Then place them inside a freezer container up to 3 months.
Bake the cookies as normal but allow a few extra minutes if still frozen when baking.

Another options is to freeze the cookies once they are already baked. I suggest placing wax paper in between the layers so they don’t stick to each other. Make sure to use a freezer container or bag.

Pro Tips

  • Flatten the cookies. It is important that you flatten each cookie after forming the balls. They will not flatten while baking so this is important.
  • Chop the cookies. The cookies turn out prettier if you chop the cookies instead of crushing them. Chopping them helps to keep the cream inside the cookies. You do not want them to be Oreo cookie crumbs.
  • Cookie Scoops. Use a cookie scoop to quickly make the cookies all uniform into small balls. This is easier than using a tablespoon.
  • Softened butter. The ingredients will mix together smoother with softened ingredients.
  • Line the pan. Use parchment paper and line the baking sheet.
