Variation and Substitutions
- Oil – We brushed the peaches with olive oil, but you can use a different type of oil of you prefer.
- Oven Baked – The oven can be used instead of air fryer. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. This is a perfect option if you do not have an air fryer.
- Nuts – You can easily mix in walnuts, almonds or pecans with the butter mixture. The nuts will give the peach dessert an extra layer of texture.
- Seasoning – Feel free to change the seasoning to what you prefer. I think a pumpkin spice seasoning would be delicious.
- Brown Sugar – After cooking the peaches, they will have delicious natural sweetness. You can easily omit or reduce the brown sugar ingredients.
- Honey. Drizzle honey over the peaches if desired. Maple syrup is aso delicious.
How to Make Air Fryer Peaches
- Step 1 – Prepare Air Fryer – Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. If your air fryer does not have a preheat option. Then run the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2. Combine Butter Mixture – In a small bowl, stir together the butter, cinnamon and brown sugar.

Step 3. Next, cut the peach in half with a sharp knife. Remove the pits from the peaches.

Step 4. Brush the cut sides of the peaches with the olive oil.

Step 5. Place in Air Fryer – Place them cut side down in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

Step 6. Turn Peaches – Carefully turn the peaches in the basket.

Step 7. Spoon Butter Mixture – Place a spoonful of the butter mixture into each of the peaches for extra flavor. Add in the opening where the pit was removed.

Step 8. Cook Peaches – Cook the peaches for 3-5 more minutes until the top of the peaches start to caramelize.

Step 9. Serve and Enjoy – Serve the caramelized peaches warm topped with the ice cream and enjoy. You can also garnish with fresh mint, granola or yogurt.

- Prepare Air Fryer – It is important to preheat the air fryer. If your air fryer does not have this function, then turn it on for about 5 minutes. We also lined with parchment paper.
- Place Peaches in Air Fryer – After preparing the peaches, place them in a single layer in the air fryer.
- Cut Peaches – We recommend cutting the peaches in halves trying to keep them about the same size.
- Cook Both Sides – You will cook both sides of the peaches in the air fryer. Carefully flip the peaches so that each side cooks.
- Cooking Time – Cooking time will vary so watch the peaches closely. It will depend on your air fryer on how long it will cook. You do not want to over cook the peaches as they can turn mushy.
- Fresh Peaches – This recipe works with fresh peaches only. Choose a firm peach that is not bruised. Peaches need to be ripe. We do not recommend trying this peach dessert with canned peaches.
- Room Temperature – Start with softened butter for best results to easily combine the ingredients.
